Gero-Psych Nursing, S.C. provides advanced practice gerontological nursing consultation services to families, law firms, and guardians, focused on assessment for appropriate care needs for frail older adults especially those with multiple medical issues. The range of services provided include phone consultation, coaching, onsite assessment, written care planning, writing for publication, public speaking, and research. Typically, services are initiated by concerned families, seeking help in managing the behavior of a suddenly changed older adult. Other times, issues of driving cessation have sought the expertise of Gero-Psych Nursing, S.C. Dr. Felten has been a research conference presenter, book chapter contributor, private case manager, and long term care facility consultant. As an advanced practice nurse, Beverly Felten PhD, RN, APNP collaborates with the existing physician, and other guardianship process team members. Services are entirely private pay, there is no billing of any third party payer.
